Marketing Experience

During my semester-long marketing internship with LCBC Church in Manheim, PA, I gained valuable hands-on experience in the marketing field. I assisted with social media and advertising campaigns while learning to use key tools such as Redbooth, Wistia, Hootsuite, Rock, and Slack. This experience equipped me to combine strategic thinking with creativity to design campaigns that both inspire and deliver measurable results. While I am unable to share certain projects, including social media content calendars, due to confidentiality, the following examples highlight the work from my internship that can be shared publicly.

Event Photos

For LCBC’s Legacy Event, I was tasked with selecting impactful photos from LCBC’s SmugMug to feature on pillowcase banners. The event was held for the Legacy Team, a group of generous donors who give large sums to help the church operate and grow. The goal was to visually show this team how their generosity has impacted LCBC and the communities it serves. I carefully chose images that captured meaningful moments and reflected LCBC’s mission and values. Through this experience, I learned how powerful visuals can be in connecting people to purpose, and I’m now equipped to apply this same intentional and purposeful approach to future marketing and event projects.

Advertisement Scripts

General LCBC Ad Script

For LCBC Church, I was tasked with writing a general ad script and using AI to create multiple versions. The goal was to make ads that were unique and flexible, so performers could choose the version that fit their voice best. Using AI allowed me to spend less time on the task while still producing high-quality content. I learned how technology can help generate ideas quickly without sacrificing creativity or effectiveness. This experience has prepared me to use AI in future marketing projects to work more efficiently while keeping content engaging and personalized.

Series Specific Ad Script

I repeated this task for a specific series at LCBC called "Who Do You Think You Are" and prompted Chat GPT to tailor the results to fit this specific mission. I experimented with different instructions and refinements to get the AI to generate scripts that captured the series’ themes. Through this, I learned how to communicate clear expectations to AI so it produces outputs that are useful and relevant. In a marketing role, I can apply this skill to quickly develop campaign ideas, create tailored content for different audiences, and generate multiple creative options for social media, advertisements, or email campaigns.
